Jotamastic 85 is a surface-tolerant epoxy mastic primer designed for maintenance and repair.
Jotamastic 85 can be used as a primer, mid-coat, or as a single-coat system in atmospheric & immersed environments. It can be applied at sub-zero surface temperatures on properly prepared carbon steel, and on aged coating surfaces. For immersed environments Jotamastic 85 Aluminium is suitable for you.
Jotamastic 85 is a two-pack epoxy mastic paint, which can be applied at low film thicknesses (from 75 to 200 microns in a single coat).
The Aluminium Version is suitable for submerged areas. Aluminium flakes within the coatings create an impenetrable barrier to water and increase coating flexibility.
For best results apply two coats above the waterline at a typical spreading rate of 8 m² per litre.
